Captured in Gallery X is a montage of the end of 2001 for
the Soul Salmon project.

Jefferson County Parks & Recreation unveiled a new Soul
Salmon at the Courthouse created by artist Larry Eifert.

Created by youth and adults from the YMCA Earth Service
Corps at the 2000 YMCA Earth Service Corps National Gathering.
The salmon is located at the Downtown YMCA at 909 Fourth
Ave., Seattle, WA in the Arn Allen Community Room. Contact

The Chimacum Cafe, famous for helicopter landings for lunch,
landed a few of the locally produced Soul Salmon in honor
of a visit from Bill Ruckelshaus in September, 2001

Sara Mall Johani seeing off Oncorhynchus Bodacicus to Chicago
April, 2001. Onco spent the summer in Lincoln Park Zoo with
the other City Critters and will be auctioned with many
other Soul Salmon in the upcoming auction on April 13, 2002.

Vladimir Shakov and Chris Wooten are in the photo with their
"Canned Salmon" from Tacoma. The salmon is made of recycled
cans in an intricately folded pattern - stunning! Photo

The Puget Sound Explorer was painted by Jon Soini with help
from Brie Van Cleve and Shelby Smith.

Ali the Aluminum Salmon was created and cast by Pete Langley,
owner of Port Townsend Foundry. Here it is on display at
the Wooden Boat Festival, Port Townsend, in September, 2001.

Ali weighs in at about 400 pounds, cast in aluminum, unlike
most
of the Soul Salmon which are fiberglass.

Cascades Conservation Partnership sponsors Factory Fish,
